After a long time it was time to leave for the southern neighbors. Urbex in Belgium. I started at Farm Pothoek. Farm Pothoek is a fairly small farm about which no information can be found at all. The farm still had quite a lot furnitureUnfortunately, it's just very messy. The grounds and farm were probably owned by an old couple, you will find several garments back from them.
Afterwards I drove on to a villa called “Leaving with the horizon”. On google earth it was very promising urbex location but unfortunately when we arrived it turned out to be demolished. That is really something you have to take into account with urbexxen. One day a location is open and the next it is either closed or simply demolished. The coordinates of this demolished location is “51°15'32.45″N 4°42'40.47″E / 51.259014, 4.711242”
Since my website does not allow copying text/photos you will have to take the "effort" to type it manually.
Then I drove to “beer farm” an abandoned cafe in Belgium. Unfortunately, this one had no income. Apart from that, there were also security cameras. And they were on. Since the law is now the same in Belgium as it is in the Netherlands, getting caught is not too smart. Yes Yes, urbex is now also punishable in Belgium.
Forest bath-urbexThis was really the best location of October for me. It's an abandoned pool in a forest. If you don't get this via-via you will never be able to find it. Can't be seen from above, not from the road either
This pool has been slowly taken back by nature. There is moss everywhere and frogs and insects have found their way in. While you are taking pictures you see and hear them crawling.
Especially the side with the diving board / springboard in a very nice sideEven if it's a little less cool from the other angle, I still give this location an 8.5. There is also no security at this location. I have visited many more but to not make the blog too long I will post that in part two.
Don't forget niet my website to bookmark so that you can stay informed about the locations I have visited and the locations that are closed.
